Worked on the openstack-k8s-operators/openstack-operator repository to enhance release stability and governance for the 18.0-fr1 branch. Developed automated dependency updates using Renovate with branch-specific configuration, reducing manual intervention and streamlining the release process. Introduced a pre-commit hook leveraging crd-schema-checker to enforce backward compatibility of CRD schemas, proactively preventing breaking changes before they reach production. Focused on preventive quality gates rather than reactive bug fixes, resulting in smoother release cycles and improved traceability. Utilized Shell and YAML for automation and configuration, applying CI/CD and DevOps best practices to strengthen release hygiene and minimize risks associated with schema updates.
