Giel contributed to the DefiLlama/DefiLlama-Adapters repository by developing an enhancement for Morpho vaults within the total value locked (TVL) calculation. This work involved integrating Morpho’s latest ‘Yield’ vaults into the analytics pipeline, improving the accuracy and coverage of DeFi metrics for dashboards and partner reporting. Giel applied DeFi development expertise using JavaScript and TypeScript, focusing on Node.js-based data processing and TVL calculation logic. The implementation maintained full commit traceability and thorough documentation, supporting reproducibility and auditability. While the contribution was focused on a single feature, it demonstrated depth in cross-team collaboration and precise integration of external vault data.
