
Worked on the LeonG19/CS4311_TRACE_Epsilon_Spring2025 repository to enhance the brute-force scanning workflow by implementing new controls for pausing, resuming, and stopping scans, as well as refining the handling of URLs, wordlists, and filters. Refactored the backend API using Python and asynchronous programming techniques, consolidating crawler usage into a single global instance to improve reliability and enable real-time streaming of results. Reintroduced and stabilized brute-forcer endpoints, restoring feature parity and supporting security testing workflows. Extended the create_initials endpoint to support dynamic user provisioning with role assignment, leveraging JSON and Svelte for seamless integration across backend and frontend components.
