Worked on stabilizing the Docker-in-Docker devcontainer for the pulumi/pulumi repository, focusing on compatibility with the Debian 13 (trixie) base image. Addressed persistent build failures by replacing moby packages with Docker CE installed from official repositories, ensuring reliable devcontainer builds. Utilized skills in Debian, Docker, and devops to implement and verify the solution through local testing, confirming successful builds and eliminating previous install-time errors. Documented the changes to streamline onboarding and improve consistency across development environments. This work enhanced the reliability of local, development, and test setups, directly supporting team productivity and aligning with upstream Debian changes.
