Worked on the paypal/paypal-messaging-components repository to address a targeted issue in the lander modal event flow. Delivered a focused bug fix by introducing a JavaScript helper function that conditionally prefixes the clientId with 'client-id:' when used as an account identifier. This approach standardized the formatting of logging and tracking data, improving the reliability of analytics for modal events. The change was carefully scoped to minimize risk, involving a single commit and affecting only the relevant event flow. Utilized front end development skills and JavaScript to ensure consistent data handling, contributing to more accurate and maintainable event analytics.
