During March 2026, Ginger Co worked on the OsmAnd-iOS repository, focusing on expanding the app’s accessibility by implementing Hebrew localization and language support. Using Swift and leveraging a Weblate-driven translation workflow, Ginger progressed the localization effort to 55 percent coverage, translating 2162 out of 3926 strings. This work established a sustainable process for ongoing language updates and laid a foundation for future internationalization. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the contribution enhanced the user experience for Hebrew-speaking users and positioned the application for broader adoption. The technical focus centered on iOS development, localization, and workflow automation.
