During a focused month, Gintxa delivered complete Basque localization for the oreplay-frontend and O-Replay main app repositories, enabling full product accessibility for Basque-speaking users. Leveraging Weblate, Gintxa established a scalable translation workflow, automating updates and ensuring component-level coverage. The work centered on internationalization and localization, using JSON for translation data and collaborating closely with translators to maintain linguistic accuracy. By prioritizing localization quality over bug fixes, Gintxa reduced future maintenance overhead and streamlined the release process. This approach expanded the product’s multilingual reach and laid the groundwork for ongoing support of additional languages in the oreplay codebase.
