During a two-month period, Fern Venue developed foundational search capabilities for the langgenius/dify-plugins repository by implementing and iteratively upgrading a Meilisearch integration plugin using Bash and Shell scripting. Fern established a maintainable upgrade path, focusing on versioning and release management to support future enhancements. In parallel, Fern improved the langgenius/dify-docs repository by enhancing the self-hosted Docker installation guide, introducing dynamic release tag retrieval with jq, and adding a ZIP-based installation method. Through technical writing and documentation, Fern streamlined onboarding and reduced support needs, demonstrating depth in automation, packaging, and user experience across both documentation and deployment workflows.
