During January 2025, Justa Fish enhanced the Lullabot/drainpipe repository by focusing on CI/CD automation and YAML validation. They developed a new YAML linting feature that parses YAML tags more accurately, expanding validation coverage and reducing configuration errors. Additionally, Justa introduced support for securely delivering SSH private keys in CI environments by enabling base64-encoded key handling, which decodes to the required format during deployment. These improvements, implemented using Shell scripting and DevOps practices, streamlined deployment workflows and strengthened security. The work demonstrated a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing, addressing practical automation challenges with targeted, maintainable solutions.
