During May 2025, Bonusplay focused on enhancing the Nitrokey/nitrokey-documentation repository by correcting a critical detail in the Nitrokey 3 PIV documentation. They identified and fixed an inconsistency in the factory default PUK, updating it from '123456' to '12345678' to ensure users receive accurate guidance for PIV management. Working primarily with reStructuredText (RST) and leveraging strong documentation skills, Bonusplay aligned the written guidance with actual product behavior. This targeted update improved user onboarding and reduced potential confusion, while explicit commit references supported traceability for audits and change management. The work demonstrated careful attention to detail and process alignment.
