Key features include implementing an Enterprise Edge Licensing & Heartbeat System with license heartbeat, state persistence, refresh handling and centralized error propagation, as well as Streaming SSE Refresh and Run Stream Task to enable real-time refresh, event merging, and robust streaming state management. These efforts reduce licensing downtime risk, improve uptime, and enhance observability and enterprise readiness.

September 2025: Delivered CORS wildcard origin support in Unleash/unleash-edge, enabling '*' in the origin list to be interpreted as AllowOrigin::any(). Implemented a refactor of the origins handling for clarity and maintainability and added test coverage to validate the behavior. The change is backed by a dedicated test named cors_origin_star_means_any and the commit: fa44c3fee4af4d42d24c0e261c2726d24cd8a994 (feat: allow explicit * in CORS origin (#1174)).

In Jan, delivered a critical UTF-8 encoding fix for FFI string parameters on Windows and updated the client specification to v5.1.9 across build/test workflows to prevent encoding regressions. These changes improve cross-language data exchange reliability, reduce Windows-related encoding failures in production and CI, and strengthen the foundation for future Windows interop work.
