During May 2025, Str08 worked on the Misskey frontend, focusing on improving the reliability of rich media playback by addressing a specific issue with Twitch Clips embedding. Str08 updated the URL preview utility in the misskey-dev/misskey repository to recognize both clips.twitch.tv and player.twitch.tv domains, ensuring that Twitch clips are properly embedded and playable within the application. This targeted bug fix, implemented using JavaScript and TypeScript, enhanced the user experience by reducing friction in media consumption. While the work was limited to a single bug fix, it demonstrated attention to detail in frontend development and a clear understanding of media integration challenges.
