He developed detection templates in Go and YAML to identify default credentials on Schneider Electric APC Network Management Cards and remote code execution vulnerabilities in QNAP Photo Station, incorporating HTTP-based testing, regex matching, and a self-deleting PHP dropper for accuracy and cleanup. Vanderstap also improved maintainability by refactoring YAML templates and removing obsolete BinaryEdge code from subfinder’s passive scraping module.
