During April 2025, Lizongying focused on maintaining package stability in the lizongying/homebrew-cask repository by addressing an unstable update to the Standard Notes application. They reverted the package from version 3.195.29 back to 3.195.13, ensuring continued compatibility for macOS users. This work involved updating SHA256 checksums for both ARM and Intel casks, preserving the integrity of Homebrew installations and minimizing user disruption. Leveraging skills in Ruby and package management, Lizongying’s targeted bug fix demonstrated a careful approach to release management, prioritizing reliability and workflow continuity over new feature development during this period of focused maintenance.
