Worked on the finos/architecture-as-code repository over three months, delivering six features focused on validation reliability, monorepo modernization, and data model improvements. Enhanced validation schema coverage from 77% to 98% using TypeScript and robust testing, reducing regression risk and supporting safer releases. Migrated Calm-Guard and Calm-Studio to npm workspaces, consolidating package management and updating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for more consistent builds and onboarding. Refactored the CALM 1.2 relationship structure, updated documentation with Docusaurus, and stabilized build workflows. These efforts improved data integrity, streamlined documentation, and reduced maintenance overhead across the full stack, benefiting both contributors and users.
June 2026 was focused on delivering and stabilizing CALM 1.2 nested relationship support and related developer experience improvements across finos/architecture-as-code. Key outcomes include: 1) CALM 1.2 Nested Relationship Structure Support: refactored CalmRelationship to the nested form, updated studio app and templates, and aligned the CALM guide with nested relationships, enabling correct validation and end-to-end loading of nested relationships; 2) Build and Release Workflow Stabilization: resolved docs build errors and dependency issues by declaring @docusaurus/faster and moving to bare workspace references, ensuring reliable CI/CD for calm-studio; 3) Documentation cleanup: removed outdated hackathon docs and orphan examples, streamlined sidebars, and prepared demos/templates for the canonical CALM 1.2 forms. Verification across the stack was strong: apps/studio 419/419 tests passed; calm-core 76/76; mcp-server 79/79; total 574/574 tests green. This work reduces maintenance burden, improves data integrity, and accelerates onboarding for contributors and users.
