Worked on enhancing Azure OpenAI integration within the Kilo-Org/kilocode repository, focusing on improving provider configuration flexibility and reliability. Developed a feature allowing resource names to be sourced dynamically from environment variables or configuration options, and introduced baseURL support to reduce hard-coded dependencies on resource identifiers. This approach streamlined Azure deployment processes and strengthened error handling by ensuring resourceName is always available to the SDK, preventing configuration failures. The work was implemented using TypeScript and involved full stack development and API integration, with careful attention to compatibility across reasoning models and alignment with Azure SDK guidelines for robust provider configuration.
