Worked on stabilizing the OpenTelemetry test suite for the apache/incubator-kie-kogito-runtimes repository, focusing on improving reliability and maintainability rather than introducing new features. Addressed a persistent issue with CI flakiness by reverting a recent Quarkus dependency change and removing the trace export configuration from the test setup. This targeted fix, implemented using Java and Quarkus, aligned the tests with the current runtime environment and reduced noise in continuous integration feedback. The work resulted in faster feedback cycles, fewer flaky tests, and a smoother onboarding process for contributors, demonstrating a strong emphasis on testing and CI configuration best practices.
