Developed and delivered an automated dependency update configuration for the containers/ramalama repository, focusing on reducing manual maintenance overhead. Implemented a renovate.json file to shift dependency updates from manual pull requests to an automated workflow, leveraging JSON for configuration and integrating with existing DevOps practices. This approach established a repeatable process for managing dependencies, improving both security and stability by ensuring timely updates. The work demonstrated skills in automation, dependency management, and Git workflows, while addressing previous challenges with manual updates. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period, reflecting a targeted effort on feature delivery and process improvement.
