Worked on the aws-observability/helm-charts repository to deliver region-aware Fluent Bit configuration and routing, enabling per-region endpoint overrides and region-specific input and output settings for flexible log routing in Kubernetes environments. Refactored the Fluent Bit configuration parsing logic using YAML to improve reliability and maintainability, particularly for deployments in isolated regions. These changes reduced the need for manual configuration and streamlined the rollout of region-specific observability features, supporting scalable multi-region cloud deployments. The work leveraged skills in Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Kubernetes, resulting in Helm charts that expose region overrides and facilitate faster, more reliable multi-region observability configurations.
