Worked on the gramaziokohler/compas_timber repository to refresh and refactor the documentation and its build process, focusing on improving clarity and maintainability. Consolidated documentation updates across branches and synchronized them with recent feature changes, ensuring user-facing guidance accurately reflected the evolving project structure. Migrated MkDocs build tasks into a dedicated Python module to streamline the CI/CD pipeline and enhance organization. Employed Python and YAML to automate documentation workflows, reducing manual intervention and support overhead. This work strengthened the foundation for onboarding and collaboration, preserving stability throughout the refactor and enabling a smoother experience for both users and contributors.
