Worked on the BerriAI/litellm repository to address a critical issue in model access visibility, focusing on backend development and API reliability. Delivered a targeted bug fix that improved the accuracy of model filtering by resolving access group names to model names, ensuring teams only see permitted models in the Models + Endpoints UI. Enhanced the /v2/model/info endpoint and reinforced the solution with comprehensive unit testing to validate access group resolution and prevent regressions. Utilized Python and test-driven development practices to align in-memory routing with database fallback, directly improving security, data correctness, and compliance in the application’s user experience.
