Worked on the pagopa/io-auth-n-identity-domain repository to enhance the security and reliability of authentication services by addressing a critical bug in assertion retrieval. Focused on internal API routing, the developer repointed the getAssertion API base URL to an internal endpoint, reducing external exposure and ensuring that assertion retrieval now leverages internal service calls. This change was implemented using Infrastructure as Code principles and Terraform, with configuration managed in HCL. The work included validating internal routing within the environment and maintaining comprehensive commit traceability, laying the foundation for future internal API migrations and improved maintainability of authentication infrastructure.
