Worked on the flowplayer/hls.js repository to enhance the reliability and robustness of key system handling for media playback. Focused on improving the Key System Access Configuration path, the developer introduced a fallback mechanism that defaults to general configuration when specific key-system settings are unavailable or misconfigured. This approach reduced access failures and edge-case crashes related to DRM and key-system loading, strengthening the stability of the integration. The work was implemented using TypeScript and JavaScript, with an emphasis on configuration management and maintainability. No new features were released, but the changes improved operational quality and observability for key-system configuration handling.
