Developed a near real-time computing unit status refresh feature for the apache/texera repository, enhancing the /compute tab to provide up-to-date resource visibility. Leveraged Angular and RxJS, specifically implementing a one-second polling interval to ensure users receive current status information with minimal data staleness. Addressed UI consistency by merging targeted fixes, which improved dashboard reliability and supported faster operator decision-making. Focused on frontend development using TypeScript, the work emphasized performance-conscious UI design and robust data handling. This contribution streamlined the process of diagnosing resource changes, resulting in a more responsive and accurate monitoring experience for users of the platform.
