July 2025 — Beyla (grafana/beyla) focused on improving developer onboarding and observability through documentation enhancements and configuration guidance. Key changes include a product labeling rename from 'cloud' to 'oss', expanded YAML configuration guidance for OTLP endpoints, metrics and traces exporters, Prometheus exporter, internal metrics reporter, histogram configurations, and attribute decorators, as well as a dedicated distributed traces page linked from the docs. These efforts were implemented to reduce configuration errors, streamline setup, and improve traceability for OSS users. The changes were delivered via three commits in the Beyla repository.

May 2025: Focused on documentation quality and user onboarding for Grafana Beyla. Delivered Beyla Documentation: Configuration Tables Readability and Formatting, refactoring and formatting Beyla configuration tables in the documentation to improve readability, consistency, and presentation of headers and content. This work enhances discoverability and reduces setup friction for users configuring Beyla.
