During December 2025, Green contributed to the JuliaPackaging/Yggdrasil repository by delivering a major upgrade to the cryptographic stack and build system. They upgraded the WolfSSL library to version 5.8.4, enabling AES-NI acceleration for faster cryptographic operations and improved performance. Green migrated the build system from CMake to autotools, updating configurations to enhance cross-platform compatibility and reduce maintenance overhead. By removing an outdated Windows linking patch, they streamlined the build process and aligned Windows builds with the new system. This work, leveraging skills in Julia, autotools, and cryptography, provided a robust foundation for future cryptographic enhancements across platforms.
