Worked on automating deployment image tagging and publishing for the User Management service within the greenbone/workflows repository. Developed a feature that integrated the user-management image into the container-build-push-3rd-gen workflow, ensuring consistent tagging and reliable publishing to the opensight repository. Leveraged CI/CD best practices and GitHub Actions, using YAML to define and automate the workflow. This approach standardized deployment processes across opensight services, eliminated manual tagging steps, and improved reproducibility. The work focused on reducing deployment risk and supporting faster, safer releases by aligning the user-management deployment pipeline with established patterns used by other services in the ecosystem.
