Worked on the ConductorOne/baton-okta repository to enhance Okta user provisioning by adding support for custom profile attributes and an inactive creation flag during account creation. Leveraged Go for backend development, focusing on robust API integration and comprehensive unit testing to validate new profile handling and account creation parameters. Updated the connector schema to expose additional fields and implemented logic to merge custom attributes while safeguarding core profile data. Improved error handling and observability around provisioning edge cases, including enhanced logging and error wrapping. These changes laid the foundation for more flexible, attribute-driven onboarding and ensured backward compatibility with existing integrations.
