In April 2026, Georgi Sariev developed an end-to-end Overlay System for the Maintainerr repository, delivering both frontend and backend components. He implemented overlay templates, an editor, template management, and font upload features using React and TypeScript, while enhancing the UI/UX with improved undo/redo and mobile tab state. On the backend, he used NestJS and Node.js to create API endpoints and performed a database migration to support overlay templates. Sariev also addressed TypeScript compile errors after a rebase, ensuring build stability. His work enabled dynamic, template-driven overlays that preserve data integrity and improved maintainability for future development.
