Contributed to the openssl/openssl repository by expanding PKCS#12 test coverage to address two critical security vulnerabilities, focusing on preventive testing rather than reactive bug fixes. Developed and merged a Perl-based test suite update that enhances regression readiness and strengthens the library’s ability to detect and prevent future vulnerabilities. Collaborated closely with security, QA, and development teams through peer review to ensure robust validation of PKCS#12 handling. Leveraged skills in security, testing, and vulnerability assessment to support stable releases and reduce risk exposure.
