In December 2025, Greg Strike developed a dedicated UI icon set for the XLights Scheduler custom integration within the home-assistant/brands repository. He applied his expertise in graphic design and UI design, utilizing SVG to create assets that enhance the integration’s visual clarity and align with Home Assistant’s branding standards. The new icons were engineered to streamline the user interface, reducing ambiguity and supporting faster UI development cycles. While the scope of work was focused, Greg’s contribution addressed a specific need for improved visual representation, ultimately facilitating better user adoption and a more intuitive workflow for the XLights Scheduler integration.
