In October 2025, Greg Tanner developed a battery level display feature for the SynthstromAudible/DelugeFirmware repository, enhancing the system menu with real-time battery percentage and voltage indicators. Using C++ and leveraging skills in embedded systems, firmware development, and UI design, he implemented cross-display support for both OLED and 7-segment interfaces. The feature displays voltage and percentage on OLED, and percentage only on 7-segment, with a toggleable UI configurable through community settings and enabled by default. This addition improved at-a-glance battery monitoring, reduced support queries, and ensured a consistent user experience across hardware, reflecting thoughtful integration and attention to usability.
