During April 2025, Gu Cheng focused on enhancing the security and stability of the weibaohui/k8m repository by upgrading the hcsshim dependency from version 0.12.4 to 0.12.9. This update addressed known vulnerabilities and resolved dependency conflicts, directly improving the reliability of container management within the project. Gu Cheng applied expertise in Go and dependency management to ensure compatibility and operational stability, particularly in production environments. The work involved identifying and remediating dependency errors, aligning the codebase with current security advisories. Although no new features were added, the targeted bug fix demonstrated a proactive approach to maintaining secure deployments.
