During October 2024, Guill focused on packaging maintenance for the XcodesOrg/homebrew-cask and lizongying/homebrew-cask repositories, delivering version bumps for Wooshy and Kindavim to ensure consistent releases and reproducible builds. Working primarily with Ruby and leveraging package management expertise, Guill coordinated cross-repository updates to standardize versioning practices. The work involved updating Homebrew Cask formulas without introducing functional changes, emphasizing stability and reliability in the release process. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, Guill’s contributions improved the packaging state and prepared both repositories for future development, demonstrating a methodical approach to release engineering and cross-repo collaboration.
