Guillaume Palayer re-architected the Bunni protocol within the DefiLlama/defillama-server repository, focusing on decoupling it from Timeless Finance to reduce cross-dependency risk and improve maintainability. He designed and implemented a standalone Bunni parent protocol, updating the protocol hierarchy and enhancing child protocols with modular governance features. Using TypeScript and applying full stack development and protocol design skills, Guillaume enabled independent deployment and governance workflows for Bunni and its child protocols. This work addressed upgradeability challenges and streamlined protocol management, reflecting a deep understanding of decentralized finance architecture and the complexities of evolving governance requirements in production systems.
