Worked on enhancing contributor documentation within the anvio repository by updating the CONTRIBUTORS.yaml file to provide detailed recognition for three contributors. Focused on improving onboarding and transparency, the update aligned with open-source contribution guidelines and strengthened project governance. Utilized YAML for structured data management and leveraged Git-based collaboration tools to ensure traceability and maintainability of documentation changes. The work emphasized clear documentation practices, making it easier for future contributors to participate and be acknowledged. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on a single feature that improved the quality and openness of project documentation for the community.
