April 2025: Delivered UI/UX and localization improvements for external import workflows across two Angular-based repos, with a bug fix for import popup tag visibility and a localization-driven enhancement of metadata display. Key changes: - 4Science/dspace-angular: Fixed Import popup tag visibility for external sources and added localization strings for item preview properties and subscription actions to improve metadata display and UI consistency. - DSpace/dspace-angular: Implemented External Import Popup Localization Improvements with an Unsubscribe option for subscriptions, plus new localization keys for metadata (Has version, Is part of series, Rights, Other Identifier) and related terms to improve usability. These efforts were driven by cross-repo collaboration, focusing on business value through clearer metadata presentation, better user control over notifications, and more reliable external import workflows.
