Guruteja focused on targeted frontend optimization and backend cleanup for the WhiteboxHub project, delivering both a feature and a bug fix within a month. On the wbl-frontend repository, Guruteja streamlined data handling in the ViewModal component by removing unnecessary fields, which reduced payload size and improved UI responsiveness. On the wbl-backend repository, deprecated ORM schema versioning API endpoints were eliminated, decreasing the backend’s surface area and maintenance overhead. The work demonstrated clear commit traceability and effective use of Python, TypeScript, and React, resulting in a leaner, more maintainable codebase with improved performance and reduced security risk.
