Worked on enhancing MPLS monitoring reliability for TiMOS platforms within the librenms/librenms repository, focusing on data quality and resilience across software versions. Addressed a specific polling issue for TiMOS 8.0.R6 by correcting the handling of sdpFarEndInetAddress, and implemented fallback logic to support older TiMOS OIDs, ensuring consistent network monitoring. Updated both snmprec and JSON data fixtures to improve the accuracy and reliability of MPLS data collection. The work leveraged PHP for backend logic, with a strong emphasis on SNMP and data parsing skills, resulting in a robust solution for maintaining accurate MPLS monitoring across diverse TiMOS environments.
