Developed a domain configuration feature for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on streamlining domain management and web hosting setup. The work centered on implementing a JSON-based configuration file to define domain ownership and DNS records, enabling automated deployment and reducing manual setup for new domains. By updating the CNAME record to point to GitHub Pages, the solution improved hosting reliability and domain accessibility. The approach leveraged configuration management skills and proficiency with JSON to ensure traceable, maintainable changes. This targeted enhancement addressed the need for efficient domain provisioning, supporting smoother onboarding and consistent hosting practices within the project’s infrastructure.
