In September 2025, Guza developed custom model configuration and tool/image support for the zed-industries/zed repository, focusing on expanding the platform’s flexibility for AI-driven workflows. Leveraging Rust and applying principles of software architecture, Guza enabled users to configure tool usage and image handling with custom AI models, addressing the need for broader deployment options and accelerated experimentation. The implementation established a foundation for future tool integrations and image backends, enhancing the extensibility of the system. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated depth in AI development and contributed to improved business agility and platform adaptability.
