Worked on the redis/jedis repository to stabilize command handling and enhance test coverage for advanced combination features in June 2026. Addressed a critical bug by correcting the FT.HYBRID COMBINE argument count to include YIELD_SCORE_AS tokens, ensuring Redis processes commands with combined-score aliases correctly. Developed comprehensive unit and integration tests in Java to validate both RRF and LINEAR combiners, covering protocol-level serialization and end-to-end behavior. Expanded the test suite to include edge cases, such as empty defaults and various parameter combinations, which improved regression protection and CI readiness. Focused on backend development, leveraging Java, Redis, and unit testing expertise.
