Worked on the elastic/eui repository to deliver comprehensive Severity pattern documentation, clarifying the use of color semantics for health and severity levels within the EUI design system. Developed a dedicated Severity pattern page and created separate documentation to guide the application of background and text colors, ensuring consistent usage across components. Introduced new neutral and risk color tokens for backgrounds and borders, standardizing theming and improving accessibility. The work involved front-end and UI development, with a focus on clear documentation using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Markdown. All changes were linked to a specific commit for traceability and streamlined code review processes.
