Worked on expanding accessibility for Uptime Kuma by delivering Ukrainian localization improvements, achieving 85% translation coverage through Weblate. Focused on building a scalable localization workflow, the developer updated and added JSON-based translation strings to support Ukrainian-speaking users and laid the groundwork for broader internationalization. The approach involved close collaboration via Git workflows and cross-team coordination, ensuring that the localization process could be efficiently maintained and extended. By establishing a Weblate-driven translation pipeline within the louislam/uptime-kuma repository, the work reduced language barriers and positioned the project for EU-market readiness, demonstrating skills in localization, translation, and software development.
