Worked on backend systems with a focus on Rust, delivering targeted bug fixes and reliability improvements across two repositories. In 0xPlaygrounds/rig, addressed a serialization issue in the HuggingFace provider’s OpenAI Chat Completions API integration by correcting tool message formatting and argument handling, which reduced API errors and enabled stable multi-turn conversations with OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Later, contributed to napi-rs/napi-rs by enhancing error handling for ThreadsafeFunction callbacks, ensuring original error causes were preserved and improving traceability across the Node-API boundary. Demonstrated skills in Rust, API integration, and backend development, with an emphasis on robust error propagation and standards compliance.
