Developed and delivered a feature for the moltbot/moltbot repository that enables the Gateway TUI to automatically follow the active local Gateway port, prioritizing explicit URL and port configurations over auto-detected values. This work focused on improving the reliability and maintainability of gateway port resolution, ensuring that user-defined settings consistently take precedence. The implementation was carried out using TypeScript and Node, with a full stack development approach that included comprehensive testing to validate the new auto-follow behavior and port precedence logic. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary emphasis was on robust feature delivery and test coverage.
