During December 2024, Liao contributed to the DataBytes-Organisation/DiscountMate_new repository by enabling business intelligence workflows through documentation and dashboard artifact delivery. Liao documented a step-by-step integration path between MongoDB Atlas and Power BI, providing a clear guide for connecting data sources to visualization tools. Additionally, Liao designed and uploaded a Power BI dashboard asset, facilitating data presentation and analysis for end users. The work emphasized repeatability by capturing the entire source-to-dashboard process in the repository. Using Power BI, MongoDB Atlas, and technical writing skills, Liao established a foundation for data-driven decision making, though the scope did not include bug fixes.
