During September 2025, Hakan Goudberg focused on modernizing dependency management across the apache/tinkerpop, SonarSource/sonarlint-core, and apache/pinot repositories. He updated core dependencies and standardized package naming by renaming sslcontext-kicktart to ayza, using Java and Shell scripting to ensure compatibility with current releases. This work involved careful refactoring to unify dependency handling and streamline future upgrades, laying the groundwork for faster feature delivery and improved maintainability. Although no user-facing features were released, Hakan’s efforts reduced technical debt and positioned the codebases for smoother downstream integration, demonstrating depth in dependency management and internal codebase evolution.
