During June 2025, Hakymulla focused on codebase maintenance and documentation improvements for the lambdaclass/cairo_native repository. He enhanced traceability by linking all TODO comments directly to GitHub issues, streamlining future development and issue tracking. Using Rust and leveraging his experience in compiler development and smart contracts, he implemented fixes to the Sierra Emu crate, which stabilized builds and improved runtime reliability. Hakymulla also updated dependency management to align with current requirements, reducing technical risk. His documentation refresh clarified onboarding and maintenance processes, collectively reducing technical debt and supporting a more efficient, maintainable codebase for the Cairo smart contract ecosystem.
