Developed Firebolt database integration and benchmarking capabilities for the ClickHouse/ClickBench repository, enabling comprehensive end-to-end testing workflows. The work involved creating a ready-to-run benchmark script using Bash and SQL, which automated Firebolt setup, data ingestion, and execution of performance queries. A dedicated SQL schema for the hits table and a suite of benchmark queries were included to support reproducible performance evaluation. This integration established a reliable process for cross-engine comparisons, allowing teams to make data-driven optimization decisions. The focus on benchmarking, database integration, and shell scripting provided measurable business value by streamlining performance testing and supporting informed engineering choices.
